Adding Offhand Feature and New Buttons

Hello Mojang Team, I would like to request a new feature for Minecraft Bedrock Edition — full offhand support just like in the Java Edition. Right now, the offhand slot in Bedrock is very limited and can only hold a few specific items like shields or totems. It would be great if Bedrock players could use the offhand for more items, such as torches, food, maps, and arrows. This would make survival and exploration much easier and more balanced between Java and Bedrock editions. Also, please consider adding new customizable button options, especially for mobile and console players. For example, a separate button to use or switch offhand items, and the ability to rearrange or resize buttons freely on the screen. These changes would make gameplay more flexible, comfortable, and fair for all Bedrock players. Thank you for reading and for continuing to make Minecraft better! 💚

    Yeah I also want this. And mojang if you are worried about space on small devices then you can give the feature of sneak to use off hand item just as we use shields. When players have to use the main hand they will not sneak and when the player have to use item in off hand they could just sneak and use it

    But mojang please please please bring off hand support

    I agree, I would really like to see this in the game.
    For the problem of controls, I think, for console users, the offhand should be used instead of main hand when you build or break things, IF you are holding down D-PAD UP.
    For mobile, there should be extra buttons for the offhand.
    For connected keyboards... I don't know cause I don't use one, so maybe just use the same layout Java uses.
