Enderpede, and Chitin

Enderpedes: A hostile mob found in the outer end islands. They burrow in the stone surrounding end cities, they resemble endermites but are larger and have segmented bodies. To kill it you must deal damage to its head. If you damage its body it might split into 2 enderpedes. When they are slain they drop Chitin fragments. Chitin Shell: Crafted from 8 Chitin fragments, and 1 magma cream. The Chitin Shell is used to upgraded certain tools and weapons that netherite cannot be used on. Such as bows, crossbow, tridents, or shields. It increases the durability of the tool/weapon, and does greater damage. It also increases the range for ranged weapons. For shields, it give 2 points of armor to the player. Chitin elytra: The Chitin Shell can also be used on the elytra, giving you minor protection, it gives the player 4 points of armor, but only when the player is not flying. Or else the Shell opens allowing the player to fly with the elytra. It cannot be enchanted with protection. This allows the players to have elytra and a chestplate without being overpowered. Its very similar to most insects with elytra.
