Update the old

I believe that minecraft has done a great job when it came to creating new updates. With new and interesting items and mechanics. However some items have been left behind and untouched for years now. Victims of this behavior have been, the fleching table, minecrats, glow ink sacks, poison potatoes, Glistering melons, etc. I propose an update that focuses on giving old items more uses. The first being items used in mass transportation; which would provide an incentive for players to use old items like rails, minecrats, and horses for long travel. Details on what players want can be found everywhere in online video rants on such topics. An example being from the Chanel "Nekoma" which in a few of their videos have demonstrated what players would like to see: One being titled *I Fixed "USELESS" Minecraft Features* although a little pretentious the point stands. The point, update old items before moving on to the next Big thing to give old items, like the minecraft better mechanic. This is so that old items won't be overlooked or outright declined in being a valid option once players reach the mid to late game. Until the update comes, I thank you for your time.
