Heraldry

I think that now with the added spear, which finally allows us to truly joust, it would be very cool to have the ability to put banners on horse armor. It would give us much more accurate jousting, as well as more customizable options.
The next step after that would probably be giving us the ability to put banners on chestplates instead of a trim.
