Daggers new tiered weapon like the spears

My Idea isn't that original but I think that if a weapon like the daggers would be added it would be a tiered weapon like the upcoming spears I think that it would be like the opposite of spears by having little reach but have faster charging attacks. I also would think that it would be cool that the higher tier the faster it would be to make it more like the opposite of the spears.

    It needs some interesting feature first (like spear's joust mechanic) and I think daggers will fit into the game well.

    Hitting from the back deals more damage to entities

    Maybe the more you attack the more damage it does. However I would think there would be a cap to that because that would be op
