Alternative to elytra chestplate (balanced)

Make all netherite armor pieces give you +1 protection, but without changing the maximum amount of protection. This way you would have 18/20 protection when not wearing a chest plate instead of 12/20, but it wouldn't be op because you wouldn't get more protection in total than with diamond. The reason: everybody wants an elytra-chestplate to fly while wearing a chest plate, but this would be a less overpowered solution for the problem, and it also makes sense because netherite armor doesn't give any more protection than diamond. So it would still be worth switching to your chestplate when landing, but you could feel more save in late game
