We should get a new fishing update soon because fishing in minecraft right now is kind of mid though I have the perfect startup for a great idea. First there should be different types of rods like those we have and a new type of rod that you throw out and wreel back in again, we should also have different types of fishing baits for different types of fishes. Maby some more types of fishes with that we could also add fresh and salt water. Fishes would have different strenghts and need different types of rods or more accuracy to fish upp. Some new types of fishes/mobs would be those like: octopuss(different from squid) , pike,sharks,”whailes”(not really fish but cool water creature), the crabb, eels electric eels. Maby even a new boss like kraken or Possidon. Of course this is just an idea but I think it is a really good one tbh.
