Potion of Random Teleportation
Effect:
- Teleports the player to a random surface location within a 1024-block radius.
- (Never teleports into caves, lava, or the void.)
Recipe:
- Awkward Potion + Chorus Fruit
Purpose:
- Makes exploration easier and safer without trivializing it, perfect for discovering new biomes or structures for endgame players.
Potion of Recall
Effect:
- Teleports the player to their current spawn/bed in the Overworld or to their Respawn Anchor (in other dimensions).
- If used in the Nether or End without a charged anchor, the potion explodes the player (no block damage).
Recipe:
- Potion of Random Teleportation + Crying Obsidian (or to add a way to collect its tears turning crying obsidian into ordinary obsidian)
Purpose:
- Offers a convenient way to return home safely, but only if the player has properly prepared a respawn point.
Potion of Death Recall
Effect:
- Teleports the player to their last death location.
Recipe:
- Potion of Random Teleportation + Echo Shard
Purpose:
- Helps recover lost items while keeping a meaningful penalty for dying.
Lore:
- The Echo Shard fits perfectly both in gameplay and lore - an “echo” of the player’s last life. This will not make the Recovery Compass useless since the potion is consumable while the compass is not.
