Blue colored bricks

So I think one cool way to add blue bricks or another blue colored block in the game is with lightning. Lightning has purposes but only for mobs. So why not make lightning electrify the stone? All you need to do is find some stone in your world and place a copper lightning rod on some stone blocks, wait for a thunderstorm and boom!! Electrified Stone. It could have a radius of effect similar to how sculk works, only just under the lightning rod. This would allow it to have a polished form, BRICKS, stair and slab variants, and walls since it could be a stone variant.
