Mace: Slam enchantment

Now with the addition of the spear, something that it can do but the mace can't is gaining damage instantly because you can get speed instantly but you can't fall instantly, you can fall really fast if you use an elytra and rapidly change to you chestplate, but that's really hard to do, so I have an idea for an easier but slower version of this trick: The Slam enchantment; a slam that can maybe be done with right click or shift, making you fall fast when used but it would have a cooldown similar to that of an ender pearl or a wind charge after using it but more so you can't spam it. Also, differently to the elytra + mace trick, this doesn't help you go up, just fall faster to give less reaction time.
