More Pet Animations and Wandering Pets

I feel kind of bad for Minecraft wolves sometimes. They mostly spend all day in one position: sitting. Imagine if you had to spend all day sitting on the floor. This is why I think there should be different postures for pets. For example:

  • dog laying down
  • cat becoming a loaf (when they put their paws underneath them and you cannot see the legs)
  • parrot sleeping
  • allowing the player to put pets in a "wandering" mode (pets wander around the area in a range of 50 blocks or so)
  • dogs tail wagging, rolling over, play bowing, and howling
  • cats hissing when touching water or near a wild wolf/fox

so those are just a few, and I think the community would really like this idea. Also, Mojang, thank you for everything you do for this wonderful game! I know it is a lot of hard work coding and animating, so thank you!

    please, please please.... I tried making a mod for this but ugh.... just too hard and my attention span is too low. I'd rather just, have this in vanilla anyway. idk why this game has been around for so long and yet this has yet to be implemented.
