Custom profile pictures No Longer Showing in Profile in Bedrock Edition

Dear Mojang Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing as a dedicated Minecraft Bedrock Edition player to share some feedback regarding a recent change that has affected many in the community.

Following the latest update, it appears that all player profile pictures in bedrock edition have reverted to default characters such as Alex, Steve, Noor, Charlie and others—even for those of us using custom skins. While our custom skins still appear in-game, the profile icons no longer reflect our custom profile pictures as in the Xbox app. This change has caused confusion and disappointment among players who value personal expression.

Minecraft has always been a celebration of creativity and individuality, and custom skins are a meaningful part of that experience. Being able to showcase our unique and own profile pictures—even in our profile icons—adds a personal touch that many of us truly appreciate.

If this change was intentional, I kindly ask that you consider restoring the option to use custom skins as profile icons. If it was an unintended bug, I hope it can be addressed in a future patch.

Thank you for your continued dedication to Minecraft and for listening to your community. We appreciate all the magic you bring to the game and look forward to future updates.

    Please Mojang let my Xbox profile and in our whole community to directly change into our icon menu in the Minecraft in 26.0 and many others version please Mojang I hope you understand me and our whole community I know you've having a problem issue in bedrock edition I understand how you feel what other haters say to you Mojang but I'm not like them being a creator of Minecraft is hard and hard to add some new features like the end update many people say end update!!!,please Mojang let our Xbox account to connect to our icon profile in Minecraft not a girl or something else I need to know or ask something what is the coming update for Minecraft 1.22 ?thank you for understanding.

    We hope Mogank will respond and that we can upload an external Minecraft skin and have the image appear in the profile. We hope for this from Mogank, and thank you for your efforts.
