Minecraft: Wars of the Pampa
Add a historical and strategic gameplay mode inspired by 19th-century South American battles, while keeping classic Minecraft as an option. Players could recruit villagers and volunteers to form armies, assign ranks and roles (cornet players, weapon smiths, flag makers), and design uniforms. Spears and swords could perform forward attacks, allowing cavalry charges, ambushes, and coordinated assaults using horn signals.
About 19% of Pillager outposts would have organized armies, and 29% of villages could become allied nations with their own troops, capable of declaring war, forming peace treaties, or conquering land. Wars could start through declarations, ambushes, or surprise charges.
Villages would have garrisons (15 soldiers: 7 infantry, 8 cavalry), and a new biome — Coxilhas — would feature wide plains with a few trees and Araucaria angustifolia, producing edible pine nuts.
When creating a world, players could choose between Classic Minecraft and the Wars of the Pampa Mode, adding strategy and immersive history without losing the essence of the game.
