Being able to put Shield Banners in Looms and wash them with Cauldrons

Hi Mojang! I've recently seen a lot of people complain about how shield banners are not accurate to block banners, but I'm one of the few people who think that is not an issue. The biggest reason why I see people complain about it is because they make a banner in the loom, they put it on a shield and it looks nothing like it. I personally found a lot of banner patterns that work well on shields but do not work on regular banners, but I needed to use banner generators online to preview how patterns would look on a shield. The best solution to this problem is just letting players put shields with banners into Looms, allowing you to preview the banner patterns on the shield, and also letting them wash the mistakes with a cauldron, exactly like regular banners. This would be a really easy solution to the problem, yet it would greatly impact how people view shield banners, and could potentially make people not hate on them as much.
