Changing the colour of a hopper

Could we have the ability to 'paint' hoppers different colours?

After a while, I end up with hoppers leading all over the place, to and from farms, storage, fuel, etc. It would make things so much easier if I could paint them different colours so I could then ell which ones were linked to what place.
