And what I mean by an overworld Update is not adding any new biomes, not a separate cave update, not a separate dungeon update. instead do what was done in the nether update to biomes in the world that are lacking of things to do. Create more structures like The Woodland Mansion, & the ocean monument and update those too. Update all the biomes with wood
Types after dark oak, & jungle wood. Update all of the ice, & snow biomes, update the dessert biomes, update the red dessert/badlands, terracotta biomes, A Cowboy town that behaved like a village, or even its own thing would be cool! I mean the swamps, & Jungles have their own villages, maybe treehouse villages, & swamp villages are similar to witch hunts? Ocean biomes need an update, a village like Atlantis, or even the sunken city of R'lyeh would be awesome. We know Items in the overworld like the fletching table need a use, ink sacs, Wandering Traders,mobs that do nothing but aesthetic, which is fine, its just people can easily find diamonds compared to an item in the newer updates & they don't do anything. The sculk biome as a whole. I'm not organized in thought about what needs an update, just things in the overworld that everyone & the other 3 people that brought this up have talked about, ill eventually put a comment under here of as much mechanics as possible.
