Emerald Armor – Enhanced Trading with Villagers

Description I propose adding Emerald Armor to Minecraft, giving emeralds a new purpose beyond trading and improving interactions with villagers. 🧱 Crafting - Crafted like other armor sets, using emerald blocks or emerald ingots (a new item). - Can be enchanted like any other armor. ✨ Special Abilities - β€œVillager Favor”: Wearing the full set grants 1 emerald discount on all trades. - Social Respect: Villagers react positively, while pillagers become more aggressive. - Protection Level: Same as diamond armor, but with slightly lower durability than netherite. 🎨 Appearance - Bright green with golden accents. - Engraved with villager symbols on the helmet and chestplate. 🌍 Benefits - Gives emeralds a second function beyond currency. - Enhances trading and village-based gameplay. - Adds depth to Minecraft’s lore, as if villagers have their own forging tradition. 🧠 Why It Makes Sense Emeralds are iconic but underused. This armor would expand their role in a balanced and meaningful way, encouraging new strategies for peaceful and economic playstyles.

    This DOESN'T make sense. Posibly one of the dumbest ideas I've seen here yet.

    Emeralds are WAY TOO EASY to get to be better than even iron, and making emerald ingots makes no sense since THEY'RE NOT A METAL. Also, emeralds are fragile and they're not hard even in the mohs scale unlike diamond which at least have that.

    Literaly nothing here makes sense and is way WAY too op. Just no, this is dumb...

    In nicer terms, I must agree. This would make diamond armor useless, since emeralds are easier to acquire than diamonds. Also, having special engravings undermines the purpose of Smithing Templates. They could add a Villager-based smithing template, though.
