Idea for 2026 Update – Bricklayer Villager and Village Restoration System

Hi Mojang Team! First of all, thank you for the amazing work on Minecraft. I’d love to suggest a new idea for the 2026 update that could make villagers more useful and the game even more immersive. The concept is a new profession: Bricklayer Villager. He trades building materials, but once you reach Master level, you can give him a Blueprint (paper item) and pay 30+ emeralds. Then, a team of Bricklayers and Carpenters spawns with scaffolding and tools, helping players build structures or repair damaged ones. Over time, both player-made and villager houses could gradually decay, showing visual damage. When that happens, the villagers living there go to the Bricklayer, pay emeralds, and trigger a restoration process. New tools like the Hammer and Trowel, and a craftable Cement block, would be used for repairs. Ruined blocks could be a new visual variant to signal aging. This system would make villagers more dynamic and technically interesting. Thank you so much for reading my idea – keep up the fantastic work!
