Don't Update the End

First of all, I know that an End Update is like the most requested thing by the Minecraft community. However, there's one major issue with that: 90% of players don't even make it there, and I would assume that means even fewer make it past the dragon. While updating it would probably would improve this percentage, I doubt it would be something that the large majority of the community would enjoy.

Instead, I would suggest updating places that lots of people go that actually need improvements, such as:

  • Woodland Biomes (especially forests): these biomes together currently take up more of the Overworld's surface than any other type of biome, yet they are almost completely structureless. They really need to have new structures added to make our adventures in them more exciting.
  • Oceans: With the nautilus being added, I am 99% sure that requests to add more to ocean biomes are about to go way up.
  • The Nether: While it has some things to explore, it is a bit lacking compared to the Overworld.

    The biggest problem with people asking for an end update is that they just want it but don't give any feedback except for "I want end ores and more biomes and more mobs and trees" or just suggest dumb ideas like "make an enderite that's better than netherite"

    So yeah, ignore the community in this, they don't know what they want neither.

    I would agree with you, except I do want an end update, but not for the same reasons the rest of the community do. I have been playing the game since 2013, and lots of people do go there. If you don't ever go there lowkey you're just bad at the game. The java playerbase (Mojang's most active and most loyal imo) are very good at the game, because we have been here since the very beginning. I bet you over 50% of java players make it to the end, some multiple times (I have made it by myself at least 12 times, on worlds and servers that I have kept for several years). It does need an update, but I dont think we need tons of stupid stuff like most people suggest. We just need an expansion of biomes, but still keeping the wasteland vibe. Add new (but ruined) structures, hostile mobs, etc. They should use minecraft dungeons as a template. They already have tons of great end content in that game that they could transfer over like they are doing with the Sift Dimension.
