For PC, it would follow the same architecture as Java. For consoles, if you put a sword in your off-hand, the left trigger will act as your main hand, attacking when pressed. If it's a block, it will be used in the same way, with edible items also following this logic. For mobile phones, when a sword is equipped, tapping the left side of the screen will be responsible for interacting or attacking, so as not to interfere with camera movement. The player will have to drag their finger on the screen to move the camera and press to place blocks or tap to attack with the sword, use a bow, etc., basically following the same programming as the main hand.
