Imagine being able to record custom music discs using note blocks, sheep horns, and other items, and then play them on a jukebox whenever you want.
Perhaps these could be recorded onto existing music discs. The method of playing or recording isn't so important; the key feature would be the ability to enter a location and listen to music you created within the game, which could loop or not, and ideally, be playable while traveling.
You might think that note blocks could replace this feature, but if you want to create a moderately long song, either the volume won't be consistent throughout, or you'd have to move around to hear it completely. This isn't practical in small spaces, and it also lacks the customization options I'm proposing.
Additionally, these discs could be duplicated to have multiple copies of the same song, or they could be obtained via a command to allow players to download custom discs from the internet, for those who aren't musically inclined. This could also be an opportunity to add new instruments, whether craftable, obtainable from villagers, found in chests, dug up, or caught while fishing. Instruments could be played based on your perspective (looking up and down, and shifting for lower notes), and music could be recorded using them.
I hope this translation is accurate (; .
