Merge Conduit Power and Breath of the Nautilus into 1 effect

    All this does is make Conduits even more redundant when a much more common source of the effect exists, aka the Nautilus mob, especially when Conduit Power also gives things like speed boost and underwater vision.

    I do agree that having a new effect that's similar to it is just needless bloat, they could've just made Nautilus give Water Breathing effect when they're practically the exact same.

    Conduits could give multiple affects. Prehaps nautilus should pause breathing in a limited way or being dependent on bubble colomn proximity.

    Merging the effects would not be a good idea because they do not serve the same purpose. The Nautilus Mob is meant to be an early game version of the Conduit. Early game meaning it can't come with ALL the features, it needs to be limited. Like the Bundle or Happy Ghast or Suspicious Stews. The Nautilus is designed to give you better access to the Conduit. Which, when combined with the proper infrastructure, can become a permanent fixture for new underwater settlements rather than a temporary solution.

    they could make it tiered and have level 1 be from riding nautiluses which only pauses the oxygen bar while level 2 which comes from conduits replenish the oxygen bar, while also giving night vision and haste as part of it

    Agree, and also the conduit could have a secondary power that acts somewhat like a beacon. It could give Aqua Affinity to players in range or increase their swimming speed as well as its current effects.

    This would keep the conduit from becoming redundant, narrow down the achievement requirements (for How Did We Get Here as OP said), and incentivize players to use this item. Increased swim speed or aqua affinity would be great for building underwater, for example.
