Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New Enchantment Idea – “Silent Steps”

Hello Mojang Team,

I’ve been exploring the Deep Dark and Ancient Cities a lot, and one of the most tense parts is trying to sneak around without alerting the Warden. It’s exciting, but sometimes it feels like there isn’t enough room for strategy or gear customization besides sneaking slowly.

I’d love to suggest a new boot enchantment called “Silent Steps.” This enchantment would reduce or completely silence the noise made by walking, sneaking, or landing from small heights. It would be perfect for players who want to explore Ancient Cities with a stealthy playstyle without having to crouch at all times.

Some ideas for balancing:

  • It could be mutually exclusive with Swift Sneak or Soul Speed.

  • Higher levels reduce sound radius more (Level I = 50%, Level II = 75%, Level III = 100%).

  • It could be a rare enchantment only found in Ancient City chests, making it feel special to the Deep Dark.

This would give boots a new role for stealth gameplay and add more depth to exploring Ancient Cities. Thank you for continuing to make Minecraft so fun to explore!
