Feature Request: Official API for Real-Time AI or App Integration

Hi Mojang team! I’d love to see Minecraft open a simple, secure way for outside apps—like creative AI companions, educational tools, or other software—to interact directly with a live world. Imagine: An AI “player” that can build alongside you or help plan structures. Educational bots that guide students through redstone lessons. Interactive storytelling where NPCs respond dynamically to player actions. Right now, mods and server plugins can do pieces of this, but an official API or connector (with permissions and privacy controls) would make it far more accessible and safe for everyone. This could spark new kinds of creativity, collaboration, and learning—without replacing the player experience we all love.
