Weather & Wind
Introduce more immersive and interactive weather, nature, and sound systems in Minecraft. New weather types could include wind, snowstorms, and sandstorms that could dynamically affect players, mobs, particles, and fire. Wind can push entities, spread fire made from torches and fires, as well as interacting with entities.
Intensity could vary by biome and closeness to other weather events, such as rain, thunder, sandstorms, snowtorms. Sandstorms and snowstorms could occur locally around the player, with visual and audio cues, movement effects, and optional visual intensity settings.
These suggestions could also include biome-specific heat and cold protection potions, wind interaction with mobs, doors, skulk scensors, and torches. New ambient sounds for these new weather types could also be added to make them feel more immersive.
The mentioned potions could be created using new or existing items that relate to the type of potion. Cacti, red sand, sand for one of them, and ice or snow for the other. Could also add new items that can only be found in specific biomes, ie; badlands, tundra villages. Leather armor could also provide protection from snowstorms.
Nature & Biome Details
New nature features might include additional decorative blocks for deserts, badlands and forests, maybe adding new tree shapes, and having leaf litter, and pink petals able to mix together if they are between neighboring biomes. The leaf particles from trees could be affected by wind.
