Piglins hunt Hoglins and pick up both raw and cooked porkchops, but they don’t actually do anything with them. I propose a healing system with this:
If a Piglin is idle (not attacking, angry, examining a gold item, etc.), not at full health, and it has at least one raw/cooked porkchop in its inventory, then every random tick, it has a chance to eat one porkchop to heal itself. Eating a raw porkchop heals 2 health (♥️;one heart represents 2 health as usual), whilst eating a cooked porkchop heals 4 health (♥️♥️). Afterward, it has a 20 second cooldown before it can attempt to eat again. It prioritizes eating cooked porkchops but will eat raw porkchops if there are no cooked ones in its inventory.
If it fulfills the above requirements BUT it is at full health, and detects another Piglin who is idle, not at full health, and does not have any porkchops, it has a chance, every random tick, to throw a porkchop at the other Piglin. It prioritizes sharing raw porkchops, but will share a cooked one if they don’t have any raw ones in their inventory. Piglins do not attempt to share porkchops with Piglin Brutes, as they cannot pick up porkchops.
This would give the Piglins a way to heal, delve into their interactions with each other, and actually give a use for their hunting Hoglins.
