Swords, axes, tridents, and maces. Bows, crossbows, potions, and snowballs. And occasionally eggs. That's our combat system. If you jump you do more damage. In Java, you have to wait a moment as well. And when you swing the sword, you swing it with such a lack of dramatic flair that it looks like you're just tapping the mobs. This should be changed to the EXTREME. Alongside raids, this new combat system could be one of Minecraft's best drops/updates yet...
First of all, there should be two added bars. Stamina for how many times you can swing your weapon before you need to wait, and rage for how many mobs you have to slay before gaining a temporary power & speed boost. You can eat a death cap mushroom (MCD) to gain this effect instantly.
Second, a few new weapons should be added. Spears (weaker tridents you can craft), War-Hammers (can be enchanted with loyalty to be thrown, and can be crafted with specific items to gain elemental buffs), and the new copper "cannon/blaster/launcher" (whatever you want to call it). It's crafted with copper, a dispenser, and a heavy core. It's used to fire wind charges and other similar items (fire charges, slimeballs etc..) with incredible force at rapid fire. One item per three fires. You can load it beforehand and shoot them all at once by crouching if you'd like. It's a steampunk weapon inspired by the Copper Age drop.
