🏹 New Mob Idea: Village Archers as Defenders

Idea:
Introduce Village Archers, a new villager-like mob that acts as a guard and protector for villages and player-built fortresses.

How it works:

  • They look similar to regular villagers, but carry a bow.

  • Naturally spawn in villages (like Iron Golems, but with range attacks).

  • They defend the village by shooting hostile mobs (zombies, pillagers, skeletons, etc.) from a distance.

  • Balanced mechanics: not too powerful, slower shooting speed than skeletons, but still reliable support.

Why this would be great:

  • Adds more life and realism to villages.

  • Makes village defense much more fun, especially during raids.

  • Encourages teamwork when playing with friends – defending a fortress with a group of archers feels epic!

  • Expands on the role of villagers, showing they can protect themselves and their homes.

Summary:
Village Archers would bring strategy, atmosphere, and excitement to Minecraft by acting as loyal ranged defenders.

    Why not stop with archers you could also add villagers that have swords βš”οΈπŸ—‘οΈ
