Banner Recipe is Too Expensive

For 1 stick and 6 Wool, you get 1 banner.
This is utterly baffling. This is why players have not used this block.
Crafting a banner should give at least 3 banners, OR reduce the 6 wool recipe to only 2.

    I agree with this. Minecraft should either reduce the price or make the return better.

    One time I was making banners to put on my map, but then I found out I didn't have enough wool. When I found out I actually did have lots of banners, what's even worse is, you can't dye them!

    I think a happy medium would be use the same recipe but get two banners instead of just one. Logic being that banners are wool-heavy; getting three banners seems like one too many for the recipe but that's just my opinion.
