Hello Mojang Team,
I love playing Minecraft Bedrock Edition, but I feel it still lacks some important features that make Java Edition more enjoyable and balanced. I want to suggest bringing several Java-like mechanics into Bedrock so the experience feels equal across both editions.
1. Java Combat & Cooldown Animation – Bedrock combat feels too basic. Java’s cooldown animation makes fighting more skill-based and less spammy. Please bring that system along with critical hits and proper attack timings.
2. Axe Damage Balance – In Java, axes deal more damage than swords, making combat more strategic. Bedrock should match this so PvP and PvE feel fair.
3. Dynamic Lighting – Holding a torch, lantern, or glow item in hand should light up the surroundings, just like popular Java mods. This makes caving and exploring more immersive.
4. Improved Offhand Use – Currently, offhand is very limited in Bedrock. It should allow holding and using any item (like shields, food, rockets, or blocks) just like Java.
5. Wither Boss Balance – The Wither in Bedrock is extremely different and overpowered compared to Java. It should have the same power level and mechanics as Java so the fight feels consistent.
6. 3D Skins – Bedrock should fully support Java-like 3D layered skins to improve creativity and personalization.
These changes will make Bedrock Edition more exciting, balanced, and fair for players who switch between both versions. Thank you for considering this feedback!
