I have seen a lot of ideas on this website saying, "GET RID OF BEDROCK JAVA IS BETTER!", I do NOT agree with these ideas, mostly because there are three times more players on bedrock than on java, meaning that the majority of players would lose all of their builds (some players have spent eight years working on their builds, imagine what it would feel like looking for Minecraft on your computer and never finding it, then realizing that everything you ever built was gone), this would be a terrible solution to a problem that doesn't really even exist.
The only problem we have is Minecraft players deciding that one version is better than another, so now we have to come up with a solution that will take months (or maybe years) to implement.
We have to make a new version of Minecraft with all of the features of java and all of the features of bedrock; it would have to be compatible with java mods and possibly bedrock add-ons (I actually don't want the bedrock marketplace to exist in the new version), it would not have a special title screen that says "Minecraft (something) edition", it would simply say "Minecraft", it would have to be available on all of the platforms that java is available on as well as all of the platforms that bedrock is available on. We would need multiplayer, we would need realms, and every feature of both games no matter how small.
If this new version of Minecraft is made, we need Bedrock and Java to stop being sold to make sure that all players stay united.
