Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.

We can always start small, such as a unified level.dat (level.dat with the same nbt tags as Java, as well as some Bedrock tags), and the Anvil file format to be used in Bedrock Edition saves first (With conversion from any versions in the past). Parity fixes can also bring both editions (Java and Bedrock) closer than ever.
