In Bedrock Edition, the offhand is currently very limited compared to Java Edition. I believe it would greatly improve gameplay if Bedrock also had a proper offhand slot.
How it could work:

A new slot appears on the left side of the hotbar, just like in Java Edition.

Players can double-click items to swap them between the main hand and offhand.

The right hand remains the main hand. For example, if both hands hold blocks, only the right-hand block would be placed.

An extra control button could allow players to use both hands independently. This way, a player could swing a mace with one hand while throwing a wind charge with the other, or mine with a pickaxe in the right hand while placing blocks with the left hand.
Why this is important:

It would bring Bedrock Edition closer to Java Edition, making gameplay more consistent across platforms.

It adds more combat and building flexibility.

It gives players better control and creativity during fights, exploration, and building.
