Suggestion:
Add a new, rare biome to the outer End islands called the "End Oasis." This biome would provide a unique source of materials and a visually striking contrast to the barren End.
Key Features:
- End Palm Trees: Tall trees with a unique blue wood color (e.g., "End Palm Wood"). They grow in a stepped, layered pattern similar to Chorus Plants, but their shape resembles a palm tree.
- End Oasis "Water": Patches of a new fluid called "Ether" replace water, having a disorienting animated texture (like the End Portal), the player cannot swim in it (like air blocks) and begins to suffocate if submerged, as if it were in a solid block. This creates a beautiful but hazardous landscape.
- Terrain: The biome features islands of End Stone and a new block, "End Soil," a darker, dirt-like block found around the edges of the Ether pools, where the End Palms grow.
Gameplay Applications:
Ether could be collected in a bucket (Bucket of Ether) or bottle.
- It would function as a required fluid in new, End-specific crafting recipes (e.g., a base ingredient for potent potions - maybe potion of levitation or haste - or for generating unique blocks, like lava and water can do), acting somewhat as the End's equivalent to Water and Lava.
End Palm Tree would offer a new blue wood set for building and crafting, and act as a source of food (coconuts).
This biome expands the End with valuable resources and visual, while strictly maintaining the dimension's otherworldly, barren and dangerous feel.
