Please use NS2 hardware detection instead of making a separate edition

Hi Mojang, I’ve been playing Minecraft for years, starting on my turquoise Switch Lite. I’ve built a world called Blob City, filled with Add-Ons, and stories shared with my friends.

Now that the Switch 2 is out, I’m worried Minecraft might release a separate NS2 edition. That would split the community and make it harder for players like me to keep our worlds and friendships intact.

Please consider using NS2 hardware detection instead. That way, players who upgrade to Switch 2 can unlock features like Vibrant Visuals, Mouse Mode, and faster loading—without needing a new edition.

Some of my friends play Minecraft on mobile and PC. If Minecraft becomes a separate NS2 edition, we might lose the ability to play together. Please keep the game unified and use hardware detection to unlock features instead.

Minecraft is more than a game, it’s a place where we grow, connect, and create. I hope you’ll protect that by keeping the experience seamless across devices. Thank you for listening.

    a ns2 version, even if you buy a upgrade pack, it will still be a new ns2 ver, plus I'm pretty sure you have to make an upgrade pack if your game already works on the ns1. And just like all the other ns2 versions, when you buy the upgrade pack, it becomes a new version, but you get to keep all your stuff, so yeah...

    And no matter what, you can still play with your friends across devices, especially BC u are all Nintendo friends, I'm assuming.

    Even if you're across devices, you can still play, with microsoft accounts, which you all use in order to play across devices, so ya bro you don't need to worry. :)
