Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Copper is too easy to obtain for this to work in the game's progression. Maybe if they were gold it would work, but copper? Not so much.

I'm not sure about having them be upward hoppers (though upward hoppers do sound like a cool idea and I'd love to get away from vertical dropper pipes) because I'd expect parity with regular hoppers and that would make them resource intensive, but: generally yes, copper pipes seem like something we should be able to make.

I feel like they should particularly interact with water in some way.
Maybe if there's a connected chain of pipes with a water source block at one end, at the other end it produces flowing water.

Maybe they can hydrate nearby tilled soil.
Maybe they interact with cauldrons in some way.

Even if they were just decorative that would be cool.
