Hello! I just started using Vibrant Visuals a few days ago, and I love it so far! However, I noticed a few issues as I continued to play:
There is a problem with the incredibly high saturation of everything when it’s entirely daylight or just daylight in general. It’s somewhat ok during the sunrise and sunset. When I try to fix it with the brightness setting, it is not enough, and decreasing the brightness makes nighttime too dark.
The second is FPS drop. By default, everything was set to Ultra, at 100%, and the resolution was set to the automatic setting. However, PS5 does not support automatic resolution and can only tolerate 50%, which actually gives me a 60 FPS experience. The PS5 should be able to handle default settings and maintain 60 FPS.
The third is volumetric lighting. I am absolutely obsessed with volumetric lighting going through trees in biomes like the Pale Garden. In other biomes, there isn’t much volumetric light, and it’s only slightly noticeable when the sun or moon sets or rises behind mountains. I really love the amount I see in the Pale Garden and wish light shone just as much in other biomes and volumetric light shining through glass. The sun and moon do not shine much on the surface of glass, but only on the white outlines.
There are also some reflection issues. I saw a firefly an inch from my face, but somehow had its reflection in bodies of water that were far away, and torches should emit a radius of light when held, and lava should be brighter.
