Improving Minecraft's Aquatic World
I believe that Minecraft's aquatic environments haven't received enough attention. There's so much potential to make the game more interesting in this area. Here are some ideas:
New Water Features
-
Waterfalls: Rivers in mountainous areas could connect with regular rivers via waterfalls.
-
Aquatic Caves: The game could include water-filled cave systems.
-
Sunken Villages: A new structure could be added in the form of a large lake with a sunken ancient village at the bottom.
-
Gold Veins: There could be a small chance for gold ore to generate at the bottom of rivers.
-
New Plants: The game could add new plants like lotus flowers, rice, and different types of algae.
New Biome A new biome called Lake Plains could be introduced. It would feature many lakes with thin strips of land, about 8-10 blocks wide, between them. New trees like willows or spruce could grow here.
New Mobs This new Lake Plains biome could be home to new mobs, such as wolverines and beavers.
I think these additions would make the game much more atmospheric and engaging.
