I am experiencing a persistent issue with fog in Minecraft Bedrock Edition that cannot be removed through resource packs or any settings, even when using a fully customized no-fog resource pack targeting all biomes. This makes exploration and enjoyment of maps extremely difficult. For example, I downloaded a detailed custom map replicating the Dolomites mountain range, and the excessive fog makes it almost impossible to appreciate the landscape. The fog appears in all biomes, including mountains, caves, oceans, Nether, and the End. Even with maximum render distance and custom resource packs designed to remove fog, the effect persists. Even in an unmodified regular vanilla minecraft world, the fog is extremely thick, obscuring scenic views. I’ve also tried playing around with the volumetric fog slider on Vibrant Visuals, and it does absolutely nothing. This is also disrupting gameplay significantly. I would choose this request under 2 topics, Graphics and Gameplay. Thick fog severely hinders my ability to explore and look for monuments like villages, which can be completely missed if there is fog. Aren’t we supposed to enjoy the graphics while also trying to speedrun the game? Why does fog even exist? It is just ruining gameplay and graphics for everybody. If there was an option to disable fog in settings or in resource packs, my graphics and gameplay experience would be much more enjoyable. Best regards, Jason C.
