Dear Mojang,
First off, thank you so much for the amazing work your dedicated team has contributed to a game I've enjoyed for years. I'm writing you today because I'd like to share my thoughts about some discrepancies between the bedrock and java editions of Minecraft. I've put thousands of hours into both, and there are things I appreciate about both versions. However, I feel that bedrock has missed out on some really cool features from java and, in general, offers subpar experience when compared to java.
The key features present in java but are absent from bedrock include holding many items in the offhand, abilities related to maps and banners, and how item frames are treated by the game. I'm sure you are all already very aware of these differences, but I just wanted to emphasize as a long time player of both versions that dedicated bedrock players feel neglected. I know that java and bedrock use different kinds of systems to work, and are headed by different teams, but I hope that you will consider as a whole company bringing bedrock up to par with java.
Again, thank you for all you have done thus far to bring both versions as far as they have come. I hope you find a profitable way to improve bedrock.
Best wishes,
A Longtime Fan
