Make day and night more realistic

In Minecraft 10 minutes a day and 10 minutes night, Why not make it 12 minutes from 10 minutes because a whole day in Minecraft is 20 minutes, but if the night is 12 minutes and the day is 12 minutes, this is 24 minutes in real life.
