Do love the fact that Leather Armor (more specifically the boot) has a feature that benefits it while on snow or a cold area. Would like the current armor/weapons to have features that benefit them for specific use cases and bad at others to create some interesting dynamics when using them.
Mainly suggesting this as Gold is bad and Diamond isn’t used unless you don’t have netherite. And Iron/Chain is starter gear. Would like them to be bit reworked for certain scenarios, and also for strategic reasons. Listing some features they could have below, though they can be changed or added apon.
Leather - Something doing with the cold, or it stops effects that ignore armor.
Gold - It has low or extremely low durability, but it has similar toughness/attack strength as diamond or netherite or quicker attack/mining speed.
Iron - Stays the same.
Diamond - Having a weak point (similar to a real diamond) or being weak to sounds. (Probably making it affect durability but I don’t know)
Netherite - Weak to water or while in water as blazes are weak to it. And also due to it being from the neither.
