God apple crafting suggestion (Bedrock Only)
In Java Edition, Enchanted Golden Apples (God Apples) were made loot-only because the old recipe (8 gold blocks + apple) made them too easy to mass-produce, especially with gold farms and villager trades.
But in Bedrock Edition, bottles o’ enchanting are loot-only items (they cannot be traded infinitely like in Java). This makes them a perfect ingredient to balance a new crafting recipe:
Proposed Recipe (Bedrock Only):
8 Golden Apples around the edges
1 Bottle o’ Enchanting in the center
= 1 Enchanted Golden Apple
Why This Fits Bedrock Better
Balanced rarity: Both Bottles o’ Enchanting and Enchanted Golden Apples would remain loot-only, meaning no infinite farming.
Useful for boss fights: Bedrock Edition has slower natural regeneration compared to Java. Having a craftable god apple would make Wither/Dragon fights less punishing while still being rare. (Especially for hardcore mode)
Adds value to Bottles o’ Enchanting: Right now they’re mostly useless (a few XP orbs). This recipe would finally give them real purpose.
Why Not in Java
In Java, clerics sell infinite Bottles o’ Enchanting, so this recipe would make God Apples farmable and break balance. Keeping them loot-only in Java still makes sense.
In short: Bring back a craftable God Apple, but only in Bedrock Edition, where it actually improves balance instead of breaking it.
