Minecarts are bad!

After new methods of transportation (Ice boat highways,elytra,reptide trident,etc) there is no point in making a railway except item transportation but traveling with minecarts is slow and it takes lot's of resources. Mojang should make minecarts faster. Their speed should be at least 20 blocks per second. They should really update minecarts. They should add a new feature to attach minecarts together. Instead of using gold in powered rails we should use copper. It gives copper a new use and making tracks becomes cheap.
