Dear Mojang Team,
I truly appreciate all the work you've done to bring Minecraft players together across platforms. Programs like GeyserMC already allow Bedrock players to join Java servers, and now projects like ViaBedrock and ViaProxy are working to make it possible for Java players to join Bedrock servers.
I understand that full parity between Java and Bedrock is extremely complex, but I believe it's not impossible. True crossplay — allowing both Java and Bedrock players to play together seamlessly — would be a game-changing feature for the community.
Many players across both editions have been hoping for this for years. It would unify the Minecraft experience and make the game feel like one shared world, regardless of platform.
Thank you for listening, and for continuing to make Minecraft better every day.
Sincerely,
Eric
