Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Amethyst Bell

The amethyst bell would resemble a purple version of the normal, gold bell but much larger, perhaps being a 2x2x2 or 3x3x3 structure. It would be crafted with the normal bell, amethyst and rarer materials such as prismarine, echo shards and an eye of ender. 

When right clicked, it would ring, and this sound could be heard by players for up to 5000 blocks away from the bell. If an item is placed below it, it will consume the item and do additional actions. For example:

  • Glow ink sacs make it give the glowing effect to all hostile mobs in a large radius
  • A heart of the sea sets the weather to thunder
  • An echo shard teleports all items in a large radius to the bell
  • Crying obsidian makes blocks in a ~50 block radius immune to fire and explosions for 10 minutes
  • An ender pearl teleports all pets of the player to the bell
  • Lapis lazuli stores all nearby experience orbs as bottles o' enchanting
  • A fire charge sets all nearby entities other than players on fire

The bell can be rung 64 times before breaking. However, durability can be restored by right clicking it with amethyst shards.

    It should have much more durability. Also, why should it require netherite? Netherite is way too rare, no one would ever make this if it required netherite.
