Enchanted books right now are currently daunting and if you don't have the internet's resources, you don't know what an enchanted book's abilities could be.
There is a certain type of magic to figuring out yourself what the enchantments do, but how would you know, for example, Power is for a bow? I myself as an older player have gotten confused seeing the new mace/trident enchantments and have had to look them up multiple times. While experimenting should he part of Minecraft, it's frustrating to not know what an enchantment could even apply to.
With the theme of many items in the game being given more accessible textures, enchanted books should definitely follow. I propose textures overlayed on top of the current book texture, and possibly different colors as well to coordinate what an enchantment may be for.
Such as:
Bow enchantments - a bow
Tool enchantments - a sword possibly, or pickaxe? (There may be a way to make this less confusing.)
Armor enchantments - a chestplate
For enchanted books that are multiple enchants on one book, maybe those could be left blank. Unbreaking/mending should also be left blank, as it's very ambiguous and doesn't cause new players the same frustration as other specific enchants might.
There may be better ways to refine this, but I think enchanted books are very overdue for atleast a beginner player accessibility adaptation. While not giving away all the exploration of Minecraft, it would be a great lead in the right direction for new ppl.
