When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Add redstone interraction to copper torches

Adding some form of redstone interaction to copper torches would be a great way to engage the redstone community, without requiring any reworking of existing mechanics.

One notable idea from a redstoners' server is to give Java copper torches the behavior of redstone torches from Bedrock Edition, and vice versa. This would help address the long standing parity differences in torch behavior between the two versions (as currently redstone torches behave quite differently in the 2 versions).

That said, any form of redstone interaction for copper torches would be a great addition.

    They could for example act as reverse redstone torches, by only being on when powered. This would make sending signals upwards, in constrained spaces, much easier. It would also abide by the conductivity of copper
