“More Life Update”
Overview
The More Life Update brings a whole new level of vitality to Minecraft by introducing a richer selection of fruits and foods, charming new animals like capybaras, and fearsome yet rewarding sharks.
New Fruits & Foods
Add vibrant crop options such as jackfruit, mango, guava, berries (blueberry, raspberry). These enhancements go beyond just flavor—they add subtle positive effects like temporary boosts to regeneration, speed, or jump height when consumed or crafted into dishes like fruit salads and smoothies.
Capybaras by the River
These gentle creatures will lounge near rivers and swamps in pairs or small groups. Players can tame them with fruits and capybaras can even carry small items when equipped with a harness—think of a living, snuggly backpack.
Sharks & Shark-tooth Sword
Sharks will populate ocean biomes, showcasing the wild seascape—despite Minecraft’s stance on avoiding aggressive animals, we already have polar bears (which in real life can be deadly to humans) but no sharks, which rarely attack us. With this update, sharks will be non-hostile unless provoked. If defeated, they drop Shark Teeth, which can be crafted into a Shark Tooth Sword:
Damage: 6 (on par with iron swords)
Durability: 2000 (surpasses diamond durability)
World Enrichment
This update also adds subtle liveliness: ambient animations like sleeping animals, birdsong, wind through leaves, variant wildflowers, and shoreline wave sounds to deepen immersion.
