Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Copper hoppers for item sorting 

A new type of hopper made of copper, offering more uses other than copper building and copper golems.

I imagine its basic function as follows: This hopper has two slots: one for the player to place a single item, and the other for receiving and transfering the selected item. This means these hoppers are only able to pick a specific item.
