I think it would be so cool if we could dye wood planks different colors! I was watching a video of someone playing a horror mod and saw there was red wood in it, and I thought it was so cool! As the builder in my group I'm always looking for good building blocks in your updates. Having dyed wood would be such a great way to have more colorful builds while still keeping it simple and a bit easier to access.
For example: I really wanted a purple themed room or building in my realms survival. Purple is much more difficult to build around because the only purple blocks are amethyst, purpur, purple wool, and terracotta. (btw I really don't want to build a purple wool house... that's not very efficient) But what if I could make some purple dye and have purple planks? Then I could make purple stairs, slabs, and fences!
Overall, as the main builder of my group I feel like having the option to dye wood or planks can create so many opportunities build-wise and create an even more colorful world.
